source Thanks for sharing your birth story and congrats on the new babe! I have enjoyed following your IG throughout the past few months. I found your account after posting a picture at 20 weeks and learned that we had close to the same due date. My due date was Oct. I appreciated the rawness of your birth story. Especially in regards to the epidural. I have been hesitant about getting an epidural, wanting to have a natural birth and truthfully being terrified of the idea of a large needle to the spine, but I agree with your thoughts of not wanting to feel as if I am suffering in pain and it has made me rethink my perspective.
Loved reading the birth story and love the picture of you and your girl swaddled! What has been the hardest adjustment in bringing her home? And how is Ellie doing? Did you do anything special to prep her for baby? Thanks for sharing, loved reading this!!! I always wondered about the pooping on the table thing, but no one ever mentions it lol.

Thanks for sharing. So happy that the birth was smooth and that you are recovering so well! Motherhood is the best. Oh my gosh! My labor was also 12 hours and I ended up getting the epidural and pushing for only 20 mins. And my daughter was 5 lbs, 5 ounces. This made me tear up. Such a beautiful recap!
